My knife making journey has lead me down many paths. I make hunters, kitchen knives, Bowie's and some folders. I forge, including Damascus, and I use high tec stainless aswell. I heat treat and Rockwell test all my own blades and I prefer Aussie hardwoods for handles. I'm much more into practical knives as my background is in farming, military and hunting. I also teach now as I think it is important to pass on what you learn along the way. My inspiration comes from the likes of Bob Loveless, D E Henry, Jerry Fisk and Nick Wheeler. I have also recreated some historical pieces and do the occasional art piece just to push myself.
